Join us for programs that include music and arts that teach children to know, love, and worship God in creative ways. These ministries meet during he school year and participate in worship several times throughout the year.
Celebration Choir:
The Celebration Choir is for children in grades 3 - 6 and combines traditional with contemporary praise and worship music. Emphasis is placed on sharing God's love through performances and mission projects. The choir participates in the annual Christmas production and takes a Music and Mission Trip is taken in May to visit other churches to celebrate what the group has done throughout the year. Rehearsal times are from 4:30 to 5:30 each Wednesday.
Jamboree Choir:
Designed for children in grades K-2, the Jamboree Choir combines traditional and contemporary praise and worship music. The choir participates in the annual Christmas production. Rehearsal times are from 4:30 to 5:30 each Wednesday.
Celebration Chimes:
For children in grades 3-6, the Celebration Chimes bell choir focuses on traditional music. The choir is featured in worship services several times throughout the school year and is included in the annual Christmas production. Rehearsal times are 5:00 to 6:00 each Wednesday.
Children's Bell Choir:
Provided for children ages 4-3rd grade, the Children's Bell Choir shares their music in the worship services and as part of the annual Christmas program. Rehearsal times are 6:00 to 6:30 each Wednesday.
Making the Word Stick! This moving and very meaningful ministry uses dowel rods as props to interpret music. This ministry, open to children in grades 3-6, focuses on interpretation of traditional and contemporary praise and worship music. Rehearses Sunday evenings throught the school year.
Youth Music Arts Ministries
In Harmony: Youth choir for grades 7 through 12. Rehearses on Sunday evenings from 5 to 6 PM. Sings once a month in one or more worship services. An annual singing/mission tour highlight their year during the summer.
Adult Music and Drama Arts at Wesley
Chancel Choir: Rehearses on Wednesdays from 6:45 to 8:00 pm. Open to anyone high school age and older who has a love for singing. Sings at the 11:00 Worship Service in the Sanctuary. No audititon required. Contact Rochelle Collette at 883-1021.
Chamber Choir: Rehearses at 8:00 am each Sunday morning prior to the 8:30 Worship Service. Open to anyone high school age or older. No audition required. Contact Rochelle Collette at 882-1021.
Singing Ambassadors: Rehearses Thursdaya at 10:00 am. Open to anyone who enjoys singing the older gospel music. Contact Sharon Hoffman at 881-1412.
Orchestra: Rehearses on Wednesdays from 7:00 to 8:00 pm. Open to anyone who has played an instrument for at least two years. The orchestra plays for Sunday services one time per month as well as for special occasions. Contact John Hillme at 883-1290.
Handbells: Rehearses on Wednesdays from 5:45 to 6:45 pm. This handbell choir is open to men and women. This group plays for morning worship once a month. Contact John Hillme at 883-1290.
G.Y.M Worship Team: This 10 member singing/instrumental group leads the music in our G.Y.M. (Glorify Your Maker) Service at 10:30 am each Sunday. Vacancies are filled from those expressing a desire to serve in this contemporary/casual form of worship.
Drama: Various dramatic roles are available throughout the year in various productions. Actors, as well as "behind the scenes" people are needed for at least three major music and drama presentations during the year.
