We are constantly exploring new ways to improve communications and to become better stewards of God's resources. Did you know that yearly printing and mailing the weekly Wesley Word Newsletter, even with volunteers collating and folding each copy and using bulk mailing rates, costs more than sending an entire team to Honduras! And don't even begin to figure up the ink and paper used.
As such, we are introducing the eMail list. Click below and you will be presented with the sign-up form. Enter your email, along with your name and address, then choose one or all of special interests. Click submit and a confirmation email will be sent to you. If you do not receive the confirmation, check your spam/junk folder. If you find it there, be sure to let your email program know that it is expected email and not junk. To be sure the email is correct and active, you should click the link inside the email according to the instructions. We are taking great pains to not hassle you or anybody else.
That's it. You will then be on the list. For now, while kinks are being ironed out, you will continue to receive your hard copy of the Wesley Word newsletter. In the near future, you will be presented with the option of going green with just the electronic version.
What are the options?
The Wesley eWord: Electronic version of the Wesley Word Newsletter, complete with links. Delivered weekly to your inbox. Note that if you prefer, you can download the entire eWord each week. Just select Newsletter from the main menu on the left side of the page.
Youth and Adult Ministry Updates: Occasional separate updates on the Youth and Adult Ministries at Wesley. This includes Sunday School news, interest groups, and special occasions.
Mission Updates: The Glorify Team (Missions) has many exciting projects. These updates come approximately monthly and when special circumstances warrant.
Massey's Mid-Week Epistle: Rev. Jim Massey (Ret) writes a weekly epistle. This is a Biblically based musing, complete with prayer, on happenings in the world. This is one of the most popular emails we send out. Many people look forward this each week. You will too.
eMail Updates and Notices: All who sign-up are automatically placed on this list. We use it to convey special notices such as weather-related closings, last-minute schedule changes, and important church-wide information.
We encourage you to sign-up for all categories at first. Each email contains a link at the bottom allowing you to change your profile. You can even cancel emails altogether, but we hope you don't. We believe that effective, timely communication is a key to a vibrant church.
One last point. If you find this service helpful, please tell your friends. Chances are they will enjoy our mailings as much as you.
