UMW Sunday, April 25
April 25 is UMW Sunday here at Wesley. We will be celebrating the traditions of this vital part of our women's ministries during the Mission Minute portion of our worship services. This year's highlight will be the presentation of the Special Recognition Pins. The persons receiving the pins have shown exceptional dedication to the mission and ministries. The pins represent a donation of funds for work with women, children, and youth. Please join the UMW as we honor these 3 deserving persons!

The Purpose of United Methodist Women

The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God, to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ, to develop a creative and supportive fellowship, and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.

Members of the UMW are active members of the church striving to learn more about God through participation in retreats, Bible study, and/or mission study. Through a variety of Circles that meet at various times, members support each other through prayer, mission, education, and advocacy. It is the goal of the women at Wesley to develop a supportive fellowship while helping those in need.
