Kids of Creation

The preschool at Wesley United Methodist Church is not your average preschool.  It was created to be a place where children of all developmental levels can learn and play in a Christ-centered environment, with the love and support of their teachers and their parents.  Allowing parents to participate in daily classroom activities gives the children and the parents a unique experience and allows them to grow and learn together.  Parents will gain greater understanding and enjoyment of their own children through active participation in their education.

As a parent, you will know exactly what is going on in your child’s classroom, because you are a part of it.  You will work in your child’s class on a rotating basis, except for in the 2-3 year-old class, where no regular parent helper will be assigned.  The frequency of your presence in the classroom will depend on the number of children in the class, but will be flexible enough to accommodate even a full-time work schedule in most cases.  The time you will spend working with your child and his or her peers will be a learning experience you will never forget.

Another exciting aspect of the preschool at Wesley is the opportunity for children of differing ability levels to attend.  One self-contained Pre-K classroom is available for those children who need specific one-on-one instruction and a small group learning environment.  The children will participate in all activities the preschool offers and will spend time in the other Pre-K classes as appropriate.  Any children who are enrolled in any of our classes may also receive additional support as needed.

We are very excited that enrollment is now open.  Enrollment forms will be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis.  If you have any questions or concerns about which class you wish to place your child in, please email or call Kelly or Bria.  We can discuss the different classes with you and find the best fit for your child.  We look forward to working with you!
